In both large and small jails, or across multiple facilities, Odyssey Jail Manager streamlines booking, classification, inmate activity, visitation and discipline, and helps your offices stay on top of the mountain of information that it takes to run today’s correctional facilities.

At initial booking, charges from the arresting agency are entered, while the system automatically checks for other local warrants. Demographics are automatically analyzed to assure that the inmate is correctly associated to any past incarcerations, outstanding warrants, or current probation cases. A customizable booking checklist can be configured to include inmate property, cash receipting, medical and suicide risk questionnaires, digital mughots, fingerprinting, automated cell assignment and many other activities – in whatever order each jail desires.

While incarcerated, an inmate’s activities are also closely monitored and tracked. Movements within the facility, or between multiple facilities is permanently tracked so you can always recreate where an inmate was, and who he was with. Visitations are managed electronically and visitors can be screen against approved lists, and outstanding warrants. At release, inmates are analyzed once again to assure that all charges have been properly dispositioned and that new warrants have not been issued while the inmate was incarcerated.
