Prosecutor
A key part of Tyler’s Odyssey Justice Suite is our integrated Prosecutor solution. Odyssey’s integrated prosecutor solution
provides the tools you need to manage intake, attorney caseloads, document preparation, witnesses and schedules.
Odyssey Prosecutor is fully integrated with the Odyssey Jail Manager and court Case Manager solutions – so from booking to
adjudication, and everything in between, Tyler’s Odyssey Justice Suite tracks and organizes it all. Prosecutor includes
specific security controls so that only authorized prosecutors and staff have access to the office’s work product.
As new cases are submitted to the prosecutor, charge data from law enforcement or the jail flows directly into the prosecutor’s
system, where intake personnel can accept, reject, change or add to the charges from law enforcement. Default charging language
for specific offenses can be managed by prosecutor staff and merged easily into complaints, informations, or indictments.
Charging language can be modified on a case by case basis by attorneys or staff to assure that it incorporates facts specific to
the circumstances of the offense. Once prepared, charges can be electronically filed with the court.
Intake personnel, investigators, and attorneys can also research prior activities online, maintain witness and evidence lists,
create subpoenas and manage victim assistance programs.
